Special Campaign Gift Announced at 29th Trees of Caring Kick-off
Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation partnered with Chartwell Queens Square Retirement Residence to host their 29th Annual Trees of Caring kick-off. Festive music and treats were enjoyed by residents, donors, and members of the community, as messages were shared about the thousands of lives touched every year because of essential funding from Trees of Caring.
Last year over $325,000 was raised from the community and local businesses in support of Trees of Caring. Funds raised through this season’s appeal will go towards the Women and Children’s department for specialized equipment.
At this year’s kick-off, CMH also announced a remarkable gift from a new Gold Star sponsor. RE/MAX Realtor, Faisal Susiwala, has donated a generous $130,000, $1 on behalf of each Cambridge resident. Additional recognition will be provided through the naming of the Teen Lounge in the Paediatric Department of the new wing.
